About our organization
Who we are
Founded by Agueratou Ilboudo in 2022, Smiling World Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping women in low income neighborhoods achieve food self-sufficiency through the creation of income-generating activities, beginning with women of Burkina Faso.
Our main goals:
- Contribute to improving the social and economic conditions of women.
- Promote excellence in the educational system, learning, and vocational training for young girls.
- Contribute to food security by supporting stakeholders in the agro-sylvo-pastoral sector.
- Promote national and international partnerships for the optimal realization of the NGO's missions.
Our programs
To achieve these goals, SMILING WORLD has an Investment Program 2023-2027 built around three (03) programs:
- Program 1: Economic empowerment of women in their living environment.
- Program 2: Promotion of education and vocational training for young girls.
- Program 3: Agro-sylvo-pastoral production and promotion of food security.

Smiling World operates in five (05) regions of Burkina Faso:
- Central Region: Province of Kadiogo
- Central East Region: Province of Kouritenga
- Central West Region: Province of Boulkiemde
- Hauts Bassins Region: Province of Houet
- South-Central Region: Province of Zounwéogo and Nahouri
